I am so happy that I read this book, because it one of my favorite MC books that I have read in a very long time. This MC book was on the lighter side, and I really appreciated that. I liked the fact that this book wasn't as gritty or dark as other MC books. This was a fun read, and I enjoyed every moment of it. I know some people felt like the romance was rushed, but I did not feel like it was at all. I enjoyed the pace of the romance. I was hooked on this book and romance from page one! I had to read it all in one sitting because I could not bring myself to put this book down.

I really liked the main character, Faye. She was a tough girl who wasn't afraid to speak her mind, and I admired that. I tend to not like characters like her, because they can come off as really rude. However, Faye was a riot! She made me literally laugh out loud so many times. I really enjoyed her as a character, and I hope to see more of her in the future.

I think Dex is now my favorite male lead in any MC book. Dex was a tough alpha male, but he also had a super sweet side. What I really liked about him was that he respected Faye and never treated her like an object. Sometimes I feel like the males in MC books tend to treat the girls like objects, and it makes me super uncomfortable. Dex was the complete opposite. He was a major heartthrob, and I wish I could have my own Dex.

Overall, I loved this book! It was romantic, funny, and enthralling. I would recommend this book to anyone, especially if you like MC books. I cannot wait to see what book two has in store!
