Dangerous to Know & Love by Jane Harvey-Berrick

Dangerous To Know & Love

Lisanne Maclaine is in college. She has promised her parents that she will take some business classes, even though, her interest lies in music. Her roommate is in the same class. When Tall, Dark and Dangerous (plus tattoos and piercings) enters the room and sits in the front of the class, she can't help stare at him for too long.

Danny Colton seems arrogant. He seems unapproachable. Has a tendency to start fights, has a short temper and can get any girl he wants.

When Lisanne and Danny have to share a project together, Lisanne can't help being upset. To her surprise Danny is very intelligent and funny. He also has a secret and pretty early on we get to know what it is.

Can I give this book a 6 star?

This was an awesome roller coaster experience. Danny was wonderfully written. Yes, he has a lot of anger in him, but he also has lost so much. To be able to pull yourself together the way he does, it's fascinating.

The change in POV's works for this book.

You get to fall in love with many characters. I like Lisanne's parents and even Zef.

Lisanne (baby doll/LA) and Danny were believable. Their connection, romance, passion is all perfectly done. After finishing the book the first thing I thought: Is there a book 2? Do we get to see more Zef, maybe in five years?

These characters invaded my mind and it's very hard to let go of Danny. This hasn't happened since I met Kellan Kyle a few months back, or Tack Allen a year ago.

He is top 5 book boyfriend for me. Well done Mrs Harvey-Berrick!

Lost and Found (Lost and Found #1)

Rowen Sterling has been sent by her mother to Willow Springs Ranch. She just finished high school and she must prove she can work hard. If she passes this test her mother will pay for her art school tuition.
Rowen has been in a self destructive path. Done drugs, alcohol and bad boys.
To her surprise when she gets there, Jesse Walker is waiting for her. The dictionary doesn't have an accurate description of a cowboy, because Jesse is hot. He also has a happy personality and doesn't make Rowen feel like a freak. She doesn't think she could be attracted to a good boy. But, she is.
Rowen has been hiding, she uses black contact lenses, dark hair and black lipstick. It is funny seeing how this family she becomes part of it, changes her life.  Also, her sense of worthlessness disappears with time.
I enjoyed this book. I love Jesse. He was perfect for Rowen. I like the changes in Rowen. And I can't wait for the next book.

Down London Road by Samantha Young
On Dublin Street #2

Johanna Walker has one purpose in life. She needs to protect her little brother Cole. She has two jobs and she dates rich men seeking stability. Her latest boyfriend Malcolm takes her to an art gallery where his ex-girlfriend is showing her art. Here is where she meets Cameron MacCabe. They instantly have a connection but Jo wants to stay away from Cam. However, he needs a new job and the bar where Jo and Joss (from on On Dublin Street) work needs a new bartender. She recommends Cam to her boss and he gets the job.

The more they work together the more attraction they have for each other.

The rest is history.

I liked that Cam preconceived ideas are wrong about Jo.

I liked that Joss and Braden have multiple cameos in this book.

I liked that Malcolm was a nice guy.

I liked Cole. I actually love Cole. What a stand up kid!

Hannah is another great secondary character.

I liked that Ellie and Adam are strong together.

I enjoyed this book, but I didn't love it as much as I loved On Dublin Street. I will read the next book though.

Searching for Moore (#1) by Julie A. Richman

Searching for Moore
Schooner Moore is attending his 43rd birthday party. Most  attendees are there just because this is the "it" party of the season. Schooner is unhappy with his marriage. While looking for some solitude an old classmate Beau approaches him and mentions a common friend from their college life, Mia Silver. Schooner's life tilts in that second. Mia is the love of his life. She is the one that got away. He knows his friend knows Mia through facebook.
Schooner can't wait any longer and sends a friend request.
Mia Silver is an independent woman who owns her own ad agency. She can't believe it when she gets a new friend request from Schooner. He is the man she loved many years ago.
After accepting, Schooner leaves everything behind for a second chance to happiness.
How can they be together. They live in two different cities. He has a family. They both have a business. Figuring it all out is what this relationship is all about. Not letting anyone come between them again is primordial.
Mia is an awesome character. I like the idea of fighting for your second chance at HEA.
I loved this book. Hate the cliffhanger. Did not read any reviews, didn't know there was one.

Come Away With Me (With Me in Seattle #1) by Kristen Proby

Come Away With Me
Review

Natalie Conner is a photographer. She is enjoying a perfect day at the beach.

When Luke Williams finds someone taking his pictures, he confronts her and tries to take away her camera.

Natalie is sure she is being robbed and it's not to happy about it.

It turns out that Luke is a famous actor who retired a few years back. He is thrilled that Natalie doesn't know who he is.

They meet again and Luke doesn't waste any time courting her.

I like this book. It has great beginning. There is no major drama, no cheating, no cliffy.

Twisted Perfection (Perfection #1)

Twisted Perfection

One night stands can have consequences.

Della Sloane is getting to know the world. She comes from an abusive background and her best friend has loaned Della her car. She stops to pump some gas when she meets our Woods.

Woods Kerrington is the beloved character from Fallen too Far. He gets his own story. He works for his father but he is not happy with his current position. However, he won't be granted higher access until he marries the girl his family has picked for him.

He gets a chance to enjoy the company of Della for a night. But that night will be something unforgettable for both.

Funny how life is, they meet again and this time they have to fight for what they want.

Really liked this book. I love Woods in the prior books, but this made me love him more.

Della was sweet.

I liked Woods better than Rush's book.

Promise Me Darkness by Paige Weaver

Promise me Darkness
Maddie is a nursing student. She is on break and goes back home with her best friend. They go out to a club. When they get there they find Ryder Delaney.
Ryder is Maddie's best friend. She has known him for a long time. She also loves him. He is a player. Sleeps with a different girl. Doesn't want a relationship, despite loving Maddie too.
When he decides to enlist in the army, he goes back with Maddie. He meets Maddie's boyfriend who is an arrogant, possessive and dangerous guy. Ryder knows this when he first meets him.
But their relationship problems will be secondary when the United States is attacked by terrorists. The EMP bomb has destroyed all electricity. Maddie, Ryder and friends must go back home. But, everyone is in survival mode and getting home could be almost impossible.

Ryder is great sometimes, but his lack of commitment towards Maddie drove me crazy.
Man up and tell Maddie how you truly feel.
The terrorist attack was scary and made me think that hopefully this will never happen.

Damaged (Damaged #1) by H.M. Ward

Damaged
Sidney Colleli left Texas and all the pain behind. She is in college and has teaching assistant position.
She is happy with her current life although she keeps everyone at a distance.
Peter Granz also moved away from his family after getting hurt too. He took a new job and a new beginning.
His life gets complicated when he meets his new TA.
He knows he is trouble when he can't keep her out of his mind.
These two characters have suffered and they will complement each other. But, they both can loose everything.
The best part of this book is the beginning. Love the way they meet.
Least favorite part, the Cliffhanger!

Real (Real, Raw & Ripped #1) by Katy Evans

Real
This is my first book where the leading man is a fighter, and did I pick right or what!

Brooke Adams is young and has just finished school. She is looking for a new job. Her best friend decides to take her to an underground fight.
This is the moment her life changes.
When fighter Remington Tate comes out, she can't help but stare at him. And when his blue eyes and smile stop at her face, she feels like melting.
Even more surprising is that Remy wants to hire her as his physical therapist. She accepts the position.
They are both extremely attracted to each other, and they communicate with the music in their IPADs.
Which is the reason "Iris" has a new meaning to me.
Remy has some secrets. Opening up to Brooke will be very hard.
Brooke also has some problems with her sister too.

Love this book. I love Remy. Brooke was awesome too. There is no triangle. There is no cliffhanger.
There are so many good lines in this book, my kindle has so many bookmarks.
I can't wait for book two.

Someone is after Jess. They want her dead and Mitch is the only one who can protect her in LA. Specially, when he starts falling for her.
I liked it. I like Jess. She is astute, funny at times. Mitch is all alpha.

That Boy (That Boy #1) by Jillian Dodd

That Boy
This is the story of Jadyn James Reynolds (JJ) and growing up with her two neighbors.
The book is written from JJ's POV, it starts when she is still a child. She has known Phillip Mackenzie since they were babies. They have been best friends. Later on, a new boy moves to the neighborhood, Danny Diamond. At first JJ hates him because he steals Phillip's attention, but later on she gaines Danny's respect and from then on, they are best buddies.
We see their relationship flourish over the years. JJ has strong feelings for both men.
All I can tell you is that it was a sweet ride.
Love both boys (which is usually strange), love their friendship and love the end.
I will like to see them play Strip Football in real life. It must be fun.

Bad Rep by A. Meredith Walters

Bad Rep

Maysie Ardin is in college, she is part of a sorority. She gets in trouble with her parents after using their "emergency" credit card for shopping. They give her an ultimatum. She must pay her own bills and needs to find a job. She takes one at the local bar.

Jordan Levitt is in college, but he is part time bartender. He also is the drummer of the local band. He is sexy and Maysie wants him.

Things seem to be going great until she finds out he has a girlfriend and she is the sorority's president.

How can Maysie have a relationship with him. She can't ruin her reputation and loose her sisters.

I had mixed feeling about Jordan at the beginning. I mean he pursues Maysie while still having a girlfriend, but he redeems himself and I really liked him by the end.

Maysie is a mess but she sees the light.

Down to You (The Bad Boys #1) by M. Leighton

Down to You
Olivia Townsend's roommate left her in a bind. This leaves Olivia without a choice and she moves in with her rich spoiled cousin Marissa.
The night of one of her friend's party she meets Cash Davenport. He is everything she wants but also everything she has promised to avoid.

To Olivia's surprise Marissa's boyfriend is Cash and when she confronts him, to her indignation, she is wrong. This guy looks like Cash but is Nash Davenport, Cash's twin.
This is Olivia's predicament, fall for Cash, who has danger all over, or take's Marissa's Nash, the good guy, the professional.
This triangle is the most tolerable ever.
Love Cash from the first scene he is in. Will read the next book for sure.

Vain (The Seven Deadly #1) by Fisher Amelie

Vain
After getting in trouble with the law and her rich dad, Sophie Price is sent to Africa to spend 6 months in an orphanage.
Sophie can't believe this is happening to her. She is the most popular girl, she is conceited, arrogant. But, also she is very lonely. Her parents couldn't care less about her. Her father's lawyer pays more attention to her than anyone else.
When she lands in Africa she meets Ian Aberdeen, who is set to dislike her.
Little by little this conceited princess becomes human and starts thinking about the people she is working with as family. She also wins Ian's respect.
But, things get a little bit worse when she meets Ian's parents and his mom hates her on sight.
Also the area where the orphanage is located is in a dangerous zone. But, Sophie wouldn't change her life.
Unfortunately, six months can go fast and soon she will need to go back to a cold mansion with inattentive parents.
I like the secondary characters, and I enjoy reading the changes in Sophie. She becomes a much better person.
Ian was a great character.

The Perfect Game (The Perfect Game #1) by J. Sterling

The Perfect Game
Cassie Andrews is joining her best friend at her college. That night they go to a frat party where she meets baseball star Jack Carter.
Jack is a playboy. He doesn't sleep with the same girl twice. When he meets Cassie he knows there is something different about her.
Cassie tries to avoid Jack for the longest time. But, in the end she can't fight the pull he has on her.
They become a couple and they both are trying to learn how to trust and open up.
When Jack needs to travel for baseball games, they try a long distance relationship. Jack however fails miserably.

There is a good ending but to my eyes Jack is not redeemable.(Why is every Jack hateful at times?-Avoiding  series Jack is an excellent example.)

Dirty Red (Love Me With Lies #2) by Tarryn Fisher

Dirty Red
This book is from Leah's POV. Why will the author devote a whole book to Red? I don't know.
I hate Leah and yet it was good to read this book.
I understand why she acts evil at times. And I want her so far away from Caleb that's not even funny. But, do I want her with Nanny Sam as HEA, probably.
This book has tons of angst too. I want to still slap everyone except Olivia.
The end of book two, in a way is great. I want Caleb to hurt for his poor choices.

Spoiler Fangalert: Is Caleb's brother the baby's daddy?
Is the Gift Olivia opened on her birthday wrap in Airport blue the penny?? Is Leah going to try to hurt Olivia physically?
I hope not, otherwise she won't end up with Sam.
Can't wait for Thief. What is Caleb stealing from Noah-hmmm Olivia maybe?
