Tempt the Stars (Cassandra Palmer #6)
by Karen Chance

Casey is determined to save Pritkin from his faith in hell. She will do anything to get him back even using her Pythia power to talk to her parents in the past.  Of course nothing is easy for her. She is always getting in trouble and making the vampires and the witches uneasy.

~~

Disappointing. No other word comes to mind. I fell like Casey hasn't matured through the series like other heroines do. She still is mistreated and treated like a child. Everyone hides things from her and she doesn't do anything about it.  Her conversations with most of the characters are so childish.

And don't get me started on her love life. This love triangle has been strung along for too long. Mircea is pretty much non existent in this book. And poor Pritkin, he goes to hell for her and when he finally wants to tell her how he feels, they get interrupted. Really??? Frustrating. Worse is that Casey doesn't know how she feels about Pritkin. Seriously? no one is so dense. Why do you want him back when another mage can teach you the same stuff Casey?

I think I'm done with this series.

Cliffhanger: Of course, like always

2/5 Fangs
