Lady Renegades (Rebel Belle #3)
Rachel Hawkins

Just as Harper Price starts coming to terms with her role as David Stark's battle-ready Paladin, protector, and girlfriend—her world goes crazy all over again.

Overwhelmed by his Oracle powers, David flees Pine Grove and starts turning teenaged girls into Paladins—and these young ladies seem to think that Harper is the enemy David needs protecting from.  Ordinarily, Harper would be able to fight off any Paladin who comes her way, but her powers have been dwindling since David left town, which means her life is on the line yet again.

Now, it’s a desperate race for Harper to find and rescue David before she backslides from superhero to your garden-variety type-A belle.

New York Times bestselling author Rachel Hawkins brings the fun once again in the finale of this pitch-perfect romantic paranormal comedy series.

I can't believe this is the final book in the Rebel Belle series! These characters have completely captured my heart! Harper Jane has grown so much since Rebel Belle. She was always in control, with being class president, head cheerleader, and having the cutest boyfriend in school. After her carefully organized world falls apart and she learns what it is to be a paladin, she realizes that life isn't perfect. It's even less so now that David has left town and is nowhere to be found.

After being dragged into this mess, Bee and Ryan seem to be friends that are faithful to a fault. They are all teenagers but they somehow all come together for a common goal and that's finding David and bringing him back to town. All of the things that have taken place have dismantled lots of relationships, but not these friendships. I love how Harper will do anything to bring David Stark back and show him he is more than just an Oracle, he's loved for who he is.

Lady Renegades was written in the same creative style that Rachel Hawkins has written the rest of the series! Harper is so spunky! She is just a regular Southern Belle at heart and no matter what happens she will remain so. Even with all the seriousness in this story, there were light and funny undertones that made it so easy to read. I absolutely loved the rollercoaster ride that was the Rebel Belle Series! And the ending warmed my body to it's core. I couldn't help but close the book with a silly smile on my face and just wish for more. Maybe Rachel will take pity on me and write a novella or an extended epilogue.
