Review

This book was a fun and light read. I enjoyed how fast past this book was. I wish there was more to the book because I felt like it was so short! I was craving more! I really did enjoy this book. There was mystery, romance, and action. I liked how Elisabeth made the vampires in her book more like the vampires in the classic Anne Rice books. I thought that was refreshing for a change. The characters in the book were are likable, but my favorite character was Sang. He was funny and just an all around great character. I wish there would have been more character development in this book, but since it was on the shorter side there was not a lot of time for extreme character development. I am torn about my feelings with the romance in this book. I do not really like the love triangle that is forming. I wish Lilly would just pick either Sang or Darius. I did not like the flipping back and forth between the two men that Lilly seemed to do. The romance in this book just was not as strong as I was hoping. I think this author has a lot of potential though, and I think the romance will improve in the next book. I did not expect the link between Lilly and Darius that was revealed at the end of the book. I am really interested to see how that will play out in future books. Overall, I enjoyed this book. It was a quick and easy read. However, the cliffhanger at the end of the book is making me want the sequel right this second! I can't wait to see what happens next.
