Review
This book picks up right where the first book, "Shock Me", left off on a crazy cliffhanger. In this book Donna, Rebecca, and Spencer do not know whom they can trust anymore. The trio starts to unravel secrets about the Biomax Soldiers, and they get into more and more danger the deeper they dig into information. This book was full of twists and turns that kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time. There was nonstop action in this book. Some secrets were revealed that blew my mind, but there were also questions that were left unanswered that are making me crave the next book. One of the things I love about this book is that the Biomax Soldiers aspect is something I have never read about before. The Biomax Soldiers and the mystery with them add such an exciting element to this book series. The romance is minimal, but there are definitely hints of romance in the book. I am looking forward to seeing the romance develop throughout the series.
This book was once again written in multiple points of views, which I was happy about. I love being able to read from the eyes of all the different characters. My favorite character is Randy, so I really enjoyed any chapter with his point-of-view. Randy is a bit of a bad boy, but he is always trying to do what is right and protect his brother, Ryan. I just really love his character. Donna, Rebecca, and Spencer were also just as great in this book. I love their friendship, and they really learn to trust each other even more in this book. I really want to completely love Ryan, but I have a serious love hate relationship with him. Sometimes he was so cute when he wanted to help Donna that I wanted to hug him, but other times I wanted to smack him. We have a rocky relationship right now, but I am hoping that I will be completely in love with him by the end of the next book. Speaking of the next book, I cannot wait to read it! This book ended on a cliffhanger, so I am dying to get the next book.
I would recommend this book and series to anyone who is looking for a thrilling young adult paranormal read. It is an exciting book that will completely suck you in.

Exclusive Sneak Peek at SPARKS by Ashley C. Harris
Never Forget
“My dad’s going to try to take the memories away from you, and keep us far apart from each other,” Ryan whispered frantically as a scared Donna found herself hugging him because she didn’t know what else to do. “To protect you.”
“No, please, we have to find a way to convince him,” she tried to say as their faces came strangely close. As close as they had been when Ryan had kissed her.
“Please... Never forget, Donna. Remember. I’ll never give up. You can’t either when the grayness comes, even if it all gets mixed up, try to remember, remember me.”
“Ryan, how could I ever forget you or what you really are!”
And then men were coming up the trees and there was this short man waiting at the tree’s stump. He was staring up at them.
“Saul,” she heard Ryan say as his face turned angry and animal like, and men came toward him.
