Lily Evans has been prone to accidents. She has been a risk taker her whole life and when Colton Neely walks into her school when senior year begins, she is willing to take the highest risk. To fall in love with someone different.
Colton is not your usual guy. He processes things differently. He's a gifted artist, he paints and in this he excels. He has never forgotten Lily since the moment he met her when they were children but, learning to be together wasn't an easy road.
I was happily surprised by this story and I thought this book was so sweet. There was no insta-love, no cheating, no drama.
Colton was an amazing character but so was Lily. In a way, she changed her life to be with him. She learned everything she could so she could be there for him. Her love was unconditional. When her heart broke, mine was broken too. Every feeling the writer wanted me to feel, I felt.
And the things Colton told Lily were so romantic without him even trying.
A great book!
“I have to ask. Why do you like me?” He shifted away from me then, his brows pulled together making him look even cuter, if that was possible. “I don’t understand the question.” His hands were squeezing mine tightly as he looked down at them. “You’re my Lilly. You’ve always been my Lilly.”
