3 weeks. 5 cities. 15 impossible stunts. One reality show.
Trevor Cross came into Reya Cabrera’s world with a bang and faded out with a whimper. They vowed to make it work, but life had other plans. After chasing his TV dreams for years, Trev finally became the UK’s next big reality star, but he alienated his family and friends in the process. Now he finally has everything he ever wanted. Women. Money. Fame. But none of it means anything when he doesn’t have the one thing that matters most: love.
Money leaves a gaping hole. Fame surrounds him with loneliness. And no woman makes him feel like Reya used to before the whirlwind of success pulled them apart.
He has a plan to get her back. However, with a hectic filming schedule looming, the only way to do that is to convince her to come on the road with him. Reya has been stuck in a rut for a while, and the opportunity to travel across Europe and play her music for new audiences seems like heaven. The only catch? She has to do it with the one boy who ever got close enough to break her heart. But he’s not a boy anymore, and as she gets to know him again she can’t deny her respect for the man he’s become.
Every time she’s around him her heart feels full of air, like a balloon about to pop. Little does she know, Trev’s feelings are just as tumultuous as hers. One thing’s for sure, these three weeks on the road together will either make them whole again or break them irrevocably.
**Hearts on Air is a contemporary romance and book #6 in the Hearts series, however it can also be read as a complete standalone.**
L.H. Cosway brings us back to the Hearts Series with its flawlessly written final book Hearts On Air! Trevor and Reya's story is finally here! I have been completely obsessed with this series for some time now, and just can't get enough of Cosway's writing.
Trevor and Reya make an appearance in Hearts Of Blue which is Trevor's brother and Reya's best friend's story. The two seem to hit it off straight away and quickly become friends. Reya is the shy and sweet girl next door, while Trevor is the chaotic and handsome trouble maker. Their relationship is mostly in the background for a couple books and of course that's one of the things that intrigues me because we only see their interactions through the eyes of others.
This story begins in the present, flips back two years and so forth. As soon as I begin reading I get super emotional because I feel like so much has already happened with them and I love the thought of them together that I just can't control my emotions. My heart went out to Reya, partly because I felt like I could relate to her in some ways and partly because I just loved how sweet and open she was. Their relationship is so different than many others because for one they are complete opposites, but for some reason they compliment each other so well, so when the story doesn't start off where I think it should I'm shattered, but I will keep hope! When she decides to go on the road with his team I am instantly on board with the plan that Trevor has devised to win her back! I love how much he's matured in the time they've been apart and I want him to win her back because I feel like she's a shell of the person she should be when he's not in her life! I was super excited about the influx of new characters as well! Cosway has prepared us for the spin off series with all these new and different characters that make up the Running On Air team! I absolutely loved every single one of them and am so eager for the new series.
Cosway knows what I want and need in a novel! I have become very attached to this series and consider it one of my all time favorites! Every book has wow'd me and this one is no exception! Trev and ReyRey are such a special and unique couple, and I feel like this review could never do them justice so you just have to read it and find out for yourself. Cosway has quickly become one of my all time favorite authors to read, her characters are so distinctive that they instantly appeal to me. Each story is charming and polished in such a skillful way that I always find myself completely forgetting my surroundings and am immersed in the story till the very end.
5/5 Fangs
