Infinity (The Infinity Division #1)
by Jus Accardo

There are three things Kori knows for sure about her life:

One: Her army general dad is insanely overprotective.

Two: The guy he sent to watch her, Cade, is way too good-looking.

Three: Everything she knew was a lie.

Now there are three things Kori never knew about her life:

One: There’s a device that allows her to jump dimensions.

Two: Cade’s got a lethal secret.

Three: Someone wants her dead.

Infinity was a fast and entertaining read! I had some issues with the book, but it was still an exciting book as a whole.

I love action packed books, and this book was definitely action packed! The only issue I had with the action in this book was it felt almost too fast paced. Everything was happening so quickly that it was so hard to keep up with what was going on.

I was thankful for the action, but I just wish it wouldn't have been so sudden or hard to follow in the beginning.

The plot of this book was very interesting. I had a hard time understanding what was happening in the beginning due to the pacing, but once things were explained, it was easier for me to enjoy the plot. Some things that happened seemed almost too insane and eye roll worthy, but it kept the book entertaining. I thought the author created a unique and exciting concept that I am looking forward to seeing her develop in future books.

The main character, Kori, was a hard character for me to like. I liked that she was feisty and stood up for herself and her loved ones, but she was very immature at times. It was hard for me to warm up to her because I would get frustrated with her unthought out plans. She came across as very young and almost bratty. I am hoping to see some more character development and maturity from her in the next book.

There was some romance in this book, which I was excited about. However, it was a bit of a let down because it was an insta-love romance. I thought Cade and Kori made a strong couple, but I would have liked their romance to have been more of a slow burn. There was an explanation for the insta-love, but I still wasn't a huge fan of it. However, they did have some sweet moments and I am hoping to see their relationship blossom into a more realistic romance in the next book.

Overall, I thought this was a promising start to a new YA series. Even though I had some issues with this book, I still thought it was entertaining. I am very interested to see where the author will take this series! I would recommend this book to readers looking for a new YA Sci-fi read!
