Searching For Perfect |
This time is Kennedy Ashe's chance to fall in love.
When she meets Nate, she knows he is a lost cause unless she steps in and helps him. He is in desperate need of transformation and she is the woman to do it.
Nate Ellison Raymond Dunkle has had enough. He is an aerospace engineer (aka rocket scientist) and his life is passing him by. He's decided to find a mate, a companion. His brother Connor's advise is going to end up getting him killed by the next woman he approaches. The last thing he was expecting is to be attracted to one of the owners.
"He wanted a woman for a long-term relationship and didn’t have the skills to scale maximum-security walls strategically built to keep out men with much more experience than him. If she were willing, he’d die trying to have her. But she wasn’t. And the one thing he wasn’t was stupid."
His first time attending a Kinnection's event is awful and nothing seems to be working. He is desperate enough to agree to whatever Ken wants him to do. Although, after meeting Ming and then Benny he may change his mind.
Kennedy has self image and weight issue and she keeps on pushing Nate to other woman. She may need an intervention too but what if it's to late??
Oh my gosh- I <3 Nate.
I love his Eliza Doolittle transformation. From geek to Superman.
The sex scenes ..... Holy Smokes!!
Nate is a geek but whatever he reads, he masters.
“Reading is a definite plus. What were the last three books you read?”
“The Kama Sutra. The Claiming of Sleeping Beauty. Fifty Shades of Grey.”
This is a book any romance seeker will enjoy. There is so much humor in this series.
One thing that bothered me was Kennedy undermining her relationship with Nate so many times that it got old. I felt like screaming: woman, Be Happy!!!
I have to mention Connor. He is so damaged from his mother leaving them when they were young but I'm sure there is hope for him and I would love to read his book.
Gen is another intriguing character. I think I know what the problem is. I hope she gets rid of her fiancée soon. Will she need a Wolfe??
A plus: There is no cliffhanger.
“You taught me to be brave, to open myself to joy, and to be a full person. You reached in, saw every broken part of me, and loved me anyway. You are my everything. But most of all, I learned I am perfect. For you. With you. I don’t want half measures anymore. I don’t want safety. I want you. Only you.”
4.5/5 Aerospace Fangs
