More Than Her (More #2) by Jay McLean

Logan Matthews has never been in love but that is about to change.
Logan is smart (he will be studying pre-med), plays baseball, he is hot and he is a good friend.  He is loyal to a fault and you can count on him when you need him. He hasn't had the best life until he was eight. He can't forget what happened to him but he also doesn't broadcast it. When he meets Amanda, his universe tilts a little.  He is shaken by this new girl and he will do anything to go out with her. Of course, Amanda doesn't want anything to do with a player. Her life is too busy to add Logan to the mix.

"You're just saying that because you want to get layooked."

Fate keeps on placing them together at the right time and at the right place but Logan makes a huge mistake and they both will pay for it.
Fast forward a year and when they meet again. Logan knows exactly what he wants or more precisely whom he wants. He really tries to get to Amanda and get her forgiveness but Amanda is protecting herself from more heartache.  Can they overcome past mistakes? Can she be his More?

"what? That maybe your more than like her?"

In More Than This, we met Logan Matthews. Bestie of The Jake Andrews. Logan got my attention and I wanted to read his story. I just didn't think it was going to hurt me to read it. Logan is confused about his feelings for Amanda and he messes up big time. He knows there is a spark between them but by the time he realizes it, it's too late.
The story at the beginning of the book is told at times from the past then we are back to the present. It shows how Logan made the wrong choice and then we get to read how Cam fixes it. (I should point out that I LOVE Cam and I can't wait for Cam and Lucy's love story).

"To the best guy I know that I'm not screwing."

Amanda was a strong character and at times my heart broke for her. Her relationship with her brother is another thing I like.  (Jay, I'm begin you to write Ethan's story. Make sure Kellie with an I E is gone).
Jay makes you laugh, makes you cry, makes you fall in love.
That's the thing about Jay Mclean, she makes these characters real for me. I want to be friends with them.  I want to help them when they need support. And let's not forget how awesome the parents are in her books. Logan's dad deserves happiness too. This awesome dad should not be alone through life.

"Logan: I need your help.
Dad: Anything."

Now, let's talk about cliffhangers. If you have read my reviews in the past, you know I hate them but I was forewarned about it so it didn't hit me too hard. I still feel bad because I want Logan and Amanda to be happy now.  Although spring is not too far.  SAD FACE EMOTICON.

Jay, this one is another winner.

"Because you and me we're going to be amazing."

No ARC provided in exchange for an honest review.
