MrsLeif's Review
Keelie is done with blind dates. She seems to have bad luck in the dating department. She would rather stay altogether away from the opposite sex for a while. She has many secrets that she would like to keep hidden, so getting close to someone is not meant to be. She just wishes Zane Barnes would read the memo.
Zane Barnes has had his eyes set on Keelie for years. He has asked her out many times and never received a yes. Even worse, she has kissed his brother. Just when he was ready to throw the towel down, a steamy encounter between them at his brother Zack's wedding makes him rethink his plan. He's done waiting.
Zane is one of the Barnes brothers. Zack's story is read in Book 1. I didn't read it but he and Abby are mentioned enough that you get the picture.
Zane was easy to like. He was supportive of Keelie and he had waited for her to open her eyes and see the real him for a while. If nothing he was very patient with her. Even when he knew that she was keeping things from him, he gave her the space she needed.
I'm intrigued by the rest of the Barnes bothers and can't wait to read Trey's story.

MrsNorthman's Review
This series has taken me by surprise. I haven't read any of Shiloh Walker's other
books, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but I'm really liking the Barnes
brothers.
Keelie is Zach's partner at the tattoo shop and she's made
some mistakes. She sort of thought Zach
was the one for her, but a stolen kiss made her realize she was totally
wrong. Now things are just awkward
between them. She projects a tough girl image, but under it all she's a caring
girl that's let guilt take over her life.
She tends to expect the worst and can't see that she deserves to be
happy.
Zane is the oldest of the five brothers. Like his younger brother, Zach, he's had his
eye on a certain girl for years. Six years!
The only difference, he's made his feelings clear. He wants Keelie and he hasn't been shy about
it. He's asked her out several times in
the past, but Keelie won't give him a chance.
Things start to change after they share a few intense minutes at Zach
and Abby's wedding. It takes time and
little bit of patience but he awakens something in her and helps her heal.
"I want to peel your clothes away, learn each and every one of those insanely sexy tattoos...and the reasons behind them. I want to know what makes you laugh, and I want to know what makes you mad."
The only thing that kind of bothered me about this book was the
minor similarities in the plot to the first book. Both brothers being in love with a girl
for years and not dating anyone else, relocating to Tucson, and holding off
from sex their first night together, to name a few. I read the books back to
back, so maybe it just made those things stick out more to me. With that said, Zane was pretty amazing. He was supportive, sweet and so darn
hot. I loved his glasses and the
comparisons to superman.
