The book starts with Amelia Hale-Chapman leaving the love of her life at the altar. Fast forward a few years later and Amelia is back in town for a few weeks. She plans on leaving as soon as she finishes fixing her grandparents garage.
The last thing Amelia thought was to find her ex-fiancée back in their hometown for good.
Kade Kelly is an ex Navy Seal. Amelia leaving him all those years ago, opened his eyes to what he did wrong. This time around he won't let her run away again. He's determined to show her that together they just make sense and that their love is bigger than the sky....
I love second chance romances. Amelia loved Kade but I understand why she left him. I just think that she could have told him how she really felt before the wedding instead of hurting him that way. Kade was too nice about this, I thought.
As a character, Amelia was interesting. She didn't play any games and was straight forward with Kade this time around.
Kade was a sexy alpha. He was a man of few words but the words that came out from his mouth were heartfelt.
This is another series by Harper that I can't wait to continue reading. With so many great secondary characters like Brody, Casey, London and Lacey, she has plenty of material to make Serenity Point a place to revisit.
