Our heroine Dani has been under her mother's thumb her whole life. She is surprised when her mother gets home and tells her they must leave their home and take a plane. Their lives are in danger and only her father, the president of the Devil's Dust Motorcycle Club can keep them safe.  For Dani, this is all a shock. She didn't even know who her father was until that day.
When she meets her dad, she realizes she has more in common with him besides their green eyes. She connects with him in a way she has never connected with her own mother.
She also meets Shadow and their attraction is inevitable. Unfortunately, there are rules you shouldn't break. Shadow knows he shouldn't take her but he can't seem to be able to stop himself.
It doesn't help that he has been told to be with her at all times.

My thoughts:
I jumped at the chance to read another MC book. However, I had a few issues with the story.  It was hard to connect with Dani and to believe this 21 year old girl didn't rebel against her mother sooner.
I like Shadow but he did do a 180 at some point that had me thinking WTH?
I did like her dad and hated her mother. What an awful person.
There was plenty of action and the twist, I didn't see it coming.  This book does end in a major cliffhanger which I'm not thrilled about.

Cliffhanger: Yes
