Behind the Scenes with Meghan March
When I sit down to write, it’s never at a desk. I think it comes from spending too many years in corporate America and generally despising all desks and office chairs. I’m all about comfort, which means you’ll find my curled up on my couch, in cozy chair, or spread out on my bed. As for must-haves? I’m pretty low maintenance. I don’t drink soda (or pop, if you’re from the Midwest like me), so my caffeine fix generally comes in the form of a caramel latte or straight espresso. If I’m drinking straight espresso, back away slowly, because that’s a sure sign a deadline is approaching. I’m a buzzkill when it comes to snacks, because I try to avoid them. I can polish off a 96-ounce bag of peanut M&Ms while I’m writing and not remember ever reaching a hand in (that may or may not be a true story). Although, my current addiction is Skinny Pop Popcorn, so I don’t feel quite so bad when I turn into a grazing zombie and the entire bag disappears without me realizing it. So, other than a comfy seat and some caffeine, my only other must-have is my Chinese Crested sidekick, Brooklyn, curled up next to me. Then I let the muse go wild.

Holiday Cheer with Meghan March
Favorite holiday book: The Polar Express. I still it's magical.
Favorite holiday movie: National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. I have to watch it every year.
Favorite holiday memory as a child: Sitting on the stairs on Christmas morning with my two older brothers waiting for my dad to check and see if Santa was finished. I'm sure he was just putting out more presents, but I'll never forget the anticipation. And then he'd make us wait longer while he took a picture of us with my mom. I need to dig out those pictures...
New Year's Resolution: I resolved years ago never to make them. I think I'm too impatient to wait for New Year's to start something new and good. I'm a 'let's do it right now' kind of girl.
Favorite wintry activity: Downhill skiing!! And then slope-side après ski cocktails by the fire.
Follow Along with Rocking the Holidays tomorrow, December 13th where author Cat Porter will be featured on the sites listed below, plus there will be ways to enter the contest daily!
About Meghan March
Meghan March is a Michigan native who has spent a good portion of her life buried in a book. Case in point: she read the entire romance section of her small town public library by age fourteen. Even after growing up (sort of) and getting a law degree, she never lost her passion for a great story, twisty plot, epic romance, and amazing characters. When she’s not writing, she’s probably reading, target shooting, drooling over fast cars, or playing with her crazy mutt.
