Mind Tamer |
Review
I loved the paranormal aspect of this book. It was truly a unique idea of people with the power to read minds. I especially think that people who love music and music theory would enjoy the music aspect that is major through out the entire novel. Lyssa was a great main character, as she was kind, strong, and relatable. I just hate how long it took for her finally be with Kryos in a romantic relationship. "Who is Kryos?" you might ask. Well, Kryos also has the ability to unlock the full use of his mind like Lyssa. He is an extremely hot alpha male who is not only smart, but hysterical. He also can rock a pair of leather pants, which I am totally a fan of.
There was plenty of action in the book, but when there wasn't action, I sometimes felt bored with dialogue and slight love triangle. I just wanted more of Kryos, and less drama. The slow burn between Kryos and Lyssa was enjoyable and steamy. I hope to see more development of their relationship in a sequel!
Overall, I enjoyed this book, and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a fun paranormal read!
