Maddie is escaping her old life. She doesn't have any money so she accepts the help her "sperm donor" offers. You see her dad is the President of the Outlaw Riders MC.
Maddie is used to people taking without asking and she doesn't know much about the bikers life. She is not sure she wants to be part of it until she meets Cole.
Cole is the vice president. He is confident, determined and sexy. He wants Maddie and he won't stop until she recognizes it too. Too bad Maddie's past comes back to bite her.
I have to say that this book was very similar to another author's book which may be the reason that it didn't seem to be exciting for me. My understanding is that Ella never read the other author's book.
Going forward I want to talk about the positive.
I think Ella got the biker's life very well done. This is a hard core biker's life. There is mostly nothing sweet about it. Women can be treated poorly and unless they become an Old lady they are out of luck. (Me- I just want to live in Jax (SOA) season 1. Nice guys doing bad things)
I like that Cole fights for what he wants. He seems to be a nice guy.
I wish the book had a little more back story to Cole and the MC per se. I wanted to learn more about their contacts, alliances, etc.
There are some pretty graphic scenes too. Some were hard to read for me.
My low rating is due mostly to me feeling like I already read this book.
