Divergent (Divergent #1) by Veronica Roth

This is a dystopian novel. Society has been divided into five factions. When teenagers turn sixteen they must choose one. Choosing the one they were not born into means leaving your love ones behind. For Beatrice Prior her decision is even harder. Once she does choose, life in the new faction is not easy. There are enemies and the factions are hiding something that can change them forever.
My review is going to be short because everyone has heard of this book or has read it already. The movie is coming out soon and who doesn't want to see Theo James as Four?
I liked this book a lot.  Tris is an interesting character, she is strong, perseverant and stubborn when someone thinks she can't accomplish something.  She fails at "selfless" unless she is trying to save someone else.  I thought it was a great new world and the fighting scenes were quite interesting.
Can't wait to see the movie.
