Hardcover256 pages
Expected publication: May 1st 2018 by Penguin Random House

Meet Daisy Winters. She’s an offbeat sixteen-year-old Floridian with mermaid-red hair; a part time job at a bootleg Walmart, and a perfect older sister who’s nearly engaged to the Crown Prince of Scotland. Daisy has no desire to live in the spotlight, but relentless tabloid attention forces her to join Ellie at the relative seclusion of the castle across the pond.

While the dashing young Miles has been appointed to teach Daisy the ropes of being regal, the prince’s roguish younger brother kicks up scandal wherever he goes, and tries his best to take Daisy along for the ride. The crown–and the intriguing Miles–might be trying to make Daisy into a lady . . . but Daisy may just rewrite the royal rulebook to suit herself.

I am a SUCKER for romance novels involving royalty, so I was more than excited to get my hands on this book! I AM TRASH FOR ROYALTY AND I DON'T EVEN CARE HOW LAME THAT MIGHT SOUND!

Royals was a witty, charming, and romantic book. I was sucked in from the first page and never wanted the story to end.

I absolutely loved the royalty element of this story. The characters were thrown into so many fun situations due to royal expectations and royal outings in the town. There is just something so addicting about contemporary novels taking place in a castle with royals! This book was the perfect example of how charming and addictive books can be when royals are involved. I will admit the royal family and their heritage was a little confusing to understand in this book, but I didn't really care. I loved being in the beautiful setting of Scotland with an enchanting castle and swoony men.

The main character, Daisy, was such a fun main character. I loved how she wasn't afraid to be herself in the world of the high-class royals. Daisy always spoke her mind and stood up for herself and those she cared about. She was hilarious, loyal, and relatable. I really enjoyed being in her head and read about her trying to navigate the rocky road of royalty.

I also loved a lot of the side characters, especially Miles. EXCUSE ME WHILE I SWOON FOREVER! As soon as he was introduced as the grumpy and quiet guy, I knew I was going to love him. I loved seeing him open up throughout the story and start to soften up. HE WAS A PRECIOUS BABY THAT I MUST PROTECT AT ALL COSTS. Miles was a brooding, mysterious, romantic, smart, and charming guy. IT WAS IMPOSSIBLE NOT TO LOVE HIM. I WANT TO READ ABOUT MILES FOREVER, PLEASE?

This book was seriously ADDICTIVE. I read it all in one sitting because I just could not put it down.Royals was everything I ever wanted in a contemporary romance about royals AND more. If you are looking for a fun and romantic contemporary novel to escape reality, then I definitely recommend checking this book out.

I NEED THIS BOOK TO BE TURNED INTO A MOVIE ASAP!!! I am just going to continue to re-read this book so I don't die while waiting for the sequel.
