Head, Scales, Tongue, Tale by Leigh Bardugo – 5 / 5 Fangs
- I loved Leigh's writing in this novella. It was addictive and mesmerizing. The romance was adorable, and I shipped the two characters so hard. I think Leigh nailed it with combining fantasy and romance in a novella.
The End of Love by Nina Lacour – 2 / 5 Fangs
- I thought this story was fun and unique. I loved the diversity of the characters. However, I felt like the romance was rushed. I couldn't feel the romantic connection.
Last Night at the Cinegore by Libba Bray – 4 / 5 Fangs
- This novella was unique, hilarious, and adorable! It was strange, but I liked it that way.
Sick Pleasures: For A and U by Francesca Lia Block – 1.5 / 5 Fangs
