Twisted (Tangled #2) by Emma Chase

Twisted
Arc provided by Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

Twisted begins two years after Tangled ends.

Drew and Kate seem to be happy. They are living together and things couldn't be better.
Work is good. Their family and friends are good too.
However, things won't remain this way for too long.

After a horrendous misunderstanding, Kate leaves their home to seek her mother's solace.

“I’m done. With you, with all of this. Don’t track me down a week from now and tell me you’re sorry. Do not call me and say you’ve changed your mind. We. Are. Over. And I never want to see you again.”

Billy is also in the picture and Drew better get there fast or things will never be the same for them.

I loved this book. It is written from Kate's POV except for the end. To me it was funnier than the first. Kate has learned Drewspeak, so she sound like Drew sometimes.

I love the way it's written. It's almost like Emma is friends with the reader. You are able to get in the zone with them.
I liked Drew a lot. Well, unless for the horrible mistake he made.  I know that Kate probably forgave him too soon but I could almost see how much he was hurting. He felt terrible and I believed it.

“Yeah, I get it. That probably doesn’t mean a whole hell of a lot to you. But . . . it’s true. I can’t promise that I won’t screw up again. But if I do, it won’t be as epic as my most recent clusterfuck. And I can promise I’ll do everything I can after to make it up to Kate . . . to make it right.”

I can't forget to mention how great Kate's friend are and I even learned to like Billy too.

Kate and Drew are a great couple and I'm glad the story is not done. We'll see what happens in Tied, set two years from now.

“I love you, Kate. Everything that’s good in my life, anything that really matters, is only there because of you. If we hadn’t met? I’d be fucking miserable—and probably too clueless to even realize it.”
