Poison Promise (Elemental Assassin #11) by Jennifer Estep

Poison Promise
Life at the Pork Pit is business as usual. Our dear Gin is still disposing of the people who were sent to kill her but this time she'll be tangled up in a new web.

One of her employee's life is in danger.  Catalina is a witness to a murder and once Bria finds this out, she is determined to make the killer pay for personal reasons. Bria's determination may get her and Catalina killed.

In the beginning, Gin is trying to keep her distance. She is getting tired of what her life has become and she is also a little hurt by Bria's actions. Soon, she knows she can't avoid it anymore. After all she is the Spider and killing is what she's an expert at.

The new baddie is a vampire by the name of Beau Benson. He rules the south of Ashland and he may be responsible for distributing the new drug called burn.

Gin knows he is powerful and she believes someone else has their hands on this new web and you'll be shocked by who else is involved. (I was able to guess only one.)

Gin makes new enemies but she also makes new allies. What I enjoyed the most was the final fighting scene. Regardless of all the blood family Gin and Bria have lost, Gin is surrounded by friends who will support her in any way they can.

As fan of Gin Bianco I was super happy to read her new adventure. I wasn't disappointed.  It had tons of action and humor. The bad guy is truly evil.
I did miss Eva's interaction with Phillip and I also missed the romance with Owen.

I can't believe it has been 11 books already. I'm think the series is coming to an end soon. I will miss all these characters when they are gone.
