MrsLeif's Review
So it took me a while to finish The King. I used the audiobook (my first one). I hate driving and during long rides I will listen to them.

It was so much fun listening to it that I think I'll do it with The Shadows when it comes out.

Impressions:

I love how the characters are still developing.

-Wrath and Beth together fighting to keep Wrath as King and at the same time disagreeing with having a "young". I still love them both. Wrath is nothing but a great King. Him ditching the Glymera is a plus.
-Trez and Selena finally dealing with their attraction. I can't wait to see where their story is going. I keep on wondering who is the Princess they want for Trez.
-I have warmed up to Xcor and his love for Layla. Xcor has to be related to the BDB. Thor maybe?  One of my favorite scenes was Xcor shopping for clothes to impress her.
-Assail and Sola scenes left me wanting for more. Assail needs to wake up and make some changes if he wants her back in his life. Assail's cousins need more page time too.
-I felt bad for Saxton's loneliness. His father is awful to him. He needs to find his mate.
-Lassiter's scenes are always funny. I hope to see more of him in the future and can't wait to see him falling in love.
-I wish JRW wrote more about Z. He's my absolute favorite brother and my favorite book in the BDB series.
-I just know iAm's story is going to be so good. Him loving Boo despite not wanting to made me like him more than Trez. His loyalty and care for Beth were more reasons to like him better.

4/5 Fangs
