This book was exactly what I needed. It's a "feel good" book.

Anne Edmond is having her daughter's birthday party when she meets "Uncle Mike".
Mike Everett is dropping her niece to the party when Anne opens the door. Suddenly, Mike is not in a hurry to leave. He finds himself staying longer than necessary in order to get to know Anne better.

Anne is divorced, she works as a party planner and has a blog she co-writes with two other friends. Her blog is very popular but it was one of the reason's her ex-husband used to divorce her.
For her, letting someone into her heart is difficult but Mike, a mechanic with a great body and tattoos is making her rethink her non-dating status.

I loved this book. Mike was a down to earth guy who didn't want to play games. He was a sweet alpha and just the right kind of hero. He was loyal to his family, a good friend, sexy and a great uncle.

Anne had some self-image issues but not enough to deter me from liking the book.
I love their banter and their hot scenes together.

As for the secondary characters, I can't wait for them to get their own books.

Cliffhanger: No

5/5 Fangs
