Bad Son Rising |
We met Zac Moore on Julie's Moore Series. Zac is Schooner's son. He grew up around wealth and he was also blessed with great looks. He's used to women throwing themselves at him and using him. The only woman who has made him want to be different is Liliana Castillo. He's intrigued by her from the moment he meets her.
Liliana wants to be part of a bigger cause that continuing her studies at Yale. She moves to Africa to help with a project. When Zac appears in Africa too she doesn't know what to think about him. Women seem to flock to him but he seem to be more than just a handsome guy.
Unfortunate circumstances separate them and the road to find each other is not an easy one.
I'm so glad Julie wrote this book. I hated Zac in the first two books. He was selfish, arrogant and he hurt Mia. I warmed up to him by the end of the series, but in this book I fell for him and I was rooting for him to win the girl he wanted.
"Give me a chance. I'll show you"
Zac demonstrated that he was more than just a pretty boy. He was smart, a loyal friend, a great brother and that he could love Liliana unconditionally.
Lily was shy, intelligent and in a way fearless. Her dedication to help people in need was admirable. I love how she was able to make Zac understand that he was worth loving.
As secondary characters go, Mia was great, his best friend Liz was a hoot and so was Brian (whom I hope gets a book too).
"I don’t know the future, but if I were a betting man, which I am, I’d bet I’m still going to love you two years from now. "
