Tatum "Tate" Brandt has been away in France for a year. She is coming back to finish high school. She was happy away and almost forgot of her personal nightmare, Jared Trent.  He has been bullying her for a few years now.  Jared is her neighbor and used to be her best friend.  He has been keeping all the boys away from her by spreading horrible rumors. So why does she miss him so much??

I disliked Jared for all the horrible things he did to Tate. I knew why he was doing them but I would not have been as forgiving as Tate was. On the other hand, I felt sorry for him and I wanted them together.
Tate was an awesome heroine. She kept on surprising me and I got happier with her with every come back she had.

Just a little note about the secondary characters, Madoc was a surprise and I can't wait for his own book.
