Nell Hawthorne is broken. She had a perfect life. Grew up next to Kyle Calloway. They were neighbors and friends since they were in a crib.
When Nell gets asked to a date by another guy, Kyle can't handle it. He doesn't understand it but soon they both figure out that they want to be together at the age of sixteen. A couple of years go by and Kyle and Nell's relationship has blossomed. Unfortunately, tragedy strikes and Nell's world changes forever.
Kyle's brother Colton comes back to town. He doesn't stay but makes a connection with Nell.
They meet again, and two broken souls try to heal each other.
Very sad at times. I wish the book was a little longer. The road to healing is going to take a while.
