This is Evie and King's story.

Evie is one of the original women in The Last Riders's club. She sleeps around and she enjoys their company. However, she is hiding her past. Only a few are privy to her past and she would like to keep it this way.

King is Lily's Dad and also the King of Queen City. He has legal and illegal businesses. After getting hurt trying to help Lily, he ends up needing help from Beth and later on Evie to change his dressings.
King thinks he can get Evie to open up about Shade and the MC. Shade wants Evie to get close to King.

One of the two will win in the end.


My thoughts:

I like King a lot. He has helped Sawyer and Vida before. He has a good heart despite being in illegal dealings. I liked him even better in this one. I think Jamie humanized him a great deal and I was pleased with his character.
I'm not going to lie, Evie was not my favorite character. I thought she was rude at times and King should have just walked away from her. He deserved better.

In regards to the secondary characters:
Beth and Razer are still sweet together and when Sex Piston talks to Razer, my heart broke a little bit.
I'm glad Lucky is back but I'm sad to see Pastor Dean's gone. I know Penni and Jackal need a book and Train and Killyama. I wonder if Brooke will create more problems for the MC.
I'm committed to this series and I'm excited about Cash and Rachel being next.

If you read the Last Riders or the VIP series you know about Sawyer.

Sawyer is one of the 3 girls who became almost sisters growing up in a low income building. Recently kidnapped and drugged she ends up in the hotel bedroom of Kaiden Cross. Once she regains her faculties the only thing she wants is to escape and protect her friend Vida. Kayden has other ideas about her safety.

Kaden Cross agrees to be the temporary replacement lead singer of the band Mouth2Mouth.  Kaden was a star until five years ago when tragedy struck making him walk away from everything.
After a concert the last thing he expects is to find a woman waiting for him in his hotel bed. When he discovers the woman has been kidnapped and drugged he takes it upon himself to protect her at any cost.

My thoughts:

Sawyer is determined, she has spark and personality. She made me laugh every time she disagreed with Kaden. I truly liked her and I wish I could say the same thing about Kaden.
He disappointed me. He was nice at the beginning but later on he was just a dominant bastard. I didn't agree with his choices. I felt like Sawyer went from one prison to another.
There is a certain scene which took me by surprise and it probably sealed my feelings towards Kaden.

I still will read the rest of the series since I like King. Even Ax needs a book (despite his behavior).

Teased (The VIP Room #1) by Jamie Begley

Teased

Vida's life is in danger and she asks King for help. King protects her but in exchange she becomes one of his club stripper's. Her stage name is Trouble.

When Colton's released from prison, he knows he owes King a debt. As payment King wants him to protect Vida.
Colton tries his hardest to stay away from her, but trouble finds him anyway.


Things I liked about Colton:

He's an alpha.
His association with the MC.
His tattoos.
His loyalty.

I also liked Vida. The reader can believe her friendship with Callie and Sawyer is for lifetime.
She never gives up trying to find her friend.
She also listens to common sense instead of getting herself in harms way.
They made a good couple.
Next is Tainted.
I didn't read this series in order. I think I should have read this before Shade's Fall. Saying that I still enjoy the story.
