Until There Was You by Kristan Higgins

What is not to like?

I have become an adept reader of anything Mrs Higgins writes about. I love her characters, and I love that there is always a dog involved.

This contemporary romance begins with Posey Osterhagen, she comes from an adopted family. Her parents are German and owned a restaurant in town. As a teenager she used to work there, in company of bad boy Liam Murphy. She had a huge crush on him, but he hurt her feelings. He was in love with the popular smart (and nice) girl. He married her and left town.

Now, Posey is all grown up and owns her own company, she is in control of her life, until Mr Bad (now a widower) moves back in town with his daughter.

To Liam's surprise he starts having feelings for Posey, their chemistry is undeniable.

Can a past misunderstanding  be resolved?

I'm so happy with Mrs Higgins writing, I will buy any book that she writes.  Her secondary characters are always memorable.
