I Dared the Duke was an extremely cute and fluffy read. This book constantly put a smile on my face, and I blew through it. I was in the mood for a fun historical romance, and this was the perfect book to fit that mood.

The characters in this book were both interesting and pretty well developed. Elizabeth was fierce, and I really liked that about her. She stood up for herself and didn't let the Duke walk all over her, which lead to some great banter between the two of them. The Duke, Alex, was closed off at first, but as he opened up more, it was easy to see there was a lot more to him than what meets the eye. My favorite thing about him was his love for his grandmother. It was so sweet, and I found it adorable that he was kind of shy to express to anyone how much he truly cared about her.

The romance in this book was a lot of fun. Alex and Elizabeth had a lot of chemistry, which made for some very steamy scenes. It was fun to see them go from almost hating each other in the beginning, to falling in love. They had great banter, and I loved their scenes together.

The plot of this book kept the book interesting. There were some action and mystery that I was not expecting. I liked that the author included those elements so it wasn't just a straight romance novel. When it comes to the historical elements of the book, I am not sure if they are 100% accurate to that time period, but they were still fun and charming.

Overall, this was a sweet and quick read. I would recommend this book to fans of fluffy historical romances!

I am a SUCKER for fairytale retellings and highlander romances. They are two of my guilty pleasures, and now this series is one of my guilty pleasures. I am so happy that each book in this series continues to get better and better! The Lady and the Highlander was actually my favorite book in this series so far! There was something so enchanting and addicting about this book. I really enjoy it!

Laire, the main character, was brilliant. She had all of the qualities of the classic Snow White and made them even better. She had the classic black hair and fair skin, she was also very kind and thoughtful. However, she was SO much more than that. Laire was brave, resourceful, smart, determined and fiercely loyal. I loved how she never gave up on herself or on the people she loved. I also admired how kind she was to those around her. She also never let herself become a total damsel in distress. Laire was always trying to figure out how to solve the issues that came up, and I really admired that. Laire was a great main character!

The fairy tale elements in this book were great. I loved seeing classic storylines from Snow White and I also enjoyed the new spin the author put on some of the plot points. The magic elements within this book were extremely interesting, and I thought the author did a great job at developing the magic and explaining it. I loved getting to know the villain, her wicked plans, and how her magic was corrupting her.

The romance in this book was steamy and full of passion. Laire and Iain made a great couple! Iain was broody and dark, and I ate it up. He made me swoon SO HARD. I thought his personality worked really well with Laire's. I loved watching them start to trust each other and start to fall in love. Of course, they had an instant connection, but I was glad that it didn't result in instant love. I felt like their relationship developed at a pretty believable pace, even though some of their feelings developed a little quickly. However, they still had a lot of swoony, delicious, and adorable moments. I definitely ship them!

Overall, I thought this was an entertaining, romantic, and magical book. There definitely were some slower moments in this book, but I thought it was a very quick read. This book isn't perfect, but it was a lot of fun! I would recommend this to fans of historical romances and fairy tale retellings!

This book combined two of my favorite things: Cinderella and "geeky" fandoms. Geekerella had everything I was hoping for in a geeky modern retelling of Cinderella. This book was simply adorable. I loved all of the callbacks to the original fairytale and how the author put cute and moderns twists on classic plot points of the fairytale.

The two main characters, Elle and Darien, were precious. I fell in love with both of their characters and I wanted them to get their happily ever afters! They were both well-developed and easy to relate to. I loved getting to know them throughout the book and watch them grow. I also liked a lot of the side characters, especially Sage. Sage was hilarious and so witty! I loved how she was there for Elle no matter what. She was such a great friend, and I was so happy that the author made sure to include such a strong female friendship.

The romance in this book was adorable and it made me smile like an idiot. The romance was so modern and relatable. The author did a great job at making the romance feel realistic, even if it did seem like a fairytale. DARIEN AND ELLE ARE SO FREAKING CUTE TOGETHER. THEY ARE THE PERFECT NERDY COUPLE AND IT MADE MY HEART SO HAPPY. #RelationshipGoals

The author really nailed the whole fandom aspect, and I ADORED it. I totally understood the geeky references and the emotional roller coaster of being in a fandom. I was in nerd heaven while reading this book!

I noticed that one reviewer (A.J.) pointed out that a side character was helping plan a wedding at a southern plantation, which caught the eye of the author. I am so glad that A.J. did that, because I also thought that was unnecessary and uncomfortable. I really hope that this will be changed or handled differently in a later print of the book. Overall, I thought this was a precious and smile-inducing read. I am so glad I got the opportunity to read this adorable geeky read! This is perfect for fandom loving readers and for readers who love a cute Cinderella retelling!

I Let You Go was so freaking amazing that I knew I wanted to read Clare's next book. I couldn't wait to get my hands on it!

The beginning felt a little slow for me but after that 10% mark, the pages pretty much just flipped by themselves. I was on a quest to learn every detail about the mastermind behind this horrible website. I wasn't sure why the women were chosen, I just wanted to stop it before more were harmed.

I liked how the author gave us glimpses into the deranged mind of the person behind it all. Each time I felt scared as to what could happen next.

It all starts with Zoe Walker finding her picture in the classified sections of a newspaper advertising call girls while she is on the Tube. She's sure the picture is her but when she gets home, her family thinks it might not be. She lives with her two grown children Katie and Justin and her boyfriend Simon. She becomes more afraid when she recognizes another woman's picture from the same newspaper who's robbed a few days later. She immediately contacts the police. This is the first time she interacts with PC Kelly Swift.

Kelly was part of British Transport Police’s Sexual Offences Unit but after doing something wrong at work, she was transferred to the BTP (British Transport Police) department She is very interested in trying to help women who have been raped. Her police instinct is telling her that Zoe is right and someone is targeting women by finding out their commute. She later is able to participate in the active search and works with DI Nick Rampello under his MIT team (Murder Investigation Teams).

After finishing reading it, I'm sad I won't see more of Kelly and Nick. I thought they created a great team. He had her back and he recognized how smart she was. I wish this could turn into a series.

I liked Zoe too. She was smart and she knew she was in trouble, alerting the authorities of what was happening. She connected the dots and knew she might be next.

I See You it's a great thriller which makes you think twice about who's watching you when you don't know. Who's snapping a picture when you are not looking.

I wonder what Mrs. Mackintosh would bring us next.
