Overwhelmed by You (Tear Asunder #2) by Nashoda Rose Blog Tour, Review and Giveaway!

We met Kat and Ream on Torn from You and this is their story.

We know that Kat fell for Ream in a short time. He was there when she needed support while her friend had disappeared but when Ream dissociates from her after she tells him her secret, she knows they are over.

More than two years later, Ream is back from the band's tour and if there is one thing he knows is that he messed up big time but he won't let Kat out of his life anymore. He just has to prove to her that he's here to stay.

“Don’t walk away from me.”
“I mean it, Kat. Friend, girlfriend, or my fuckin’ wife. I don’t want you walking away from me when some other chick is vying for my attention because no matter what we are … you are more important than them.”

They are so many great scenes and Ream completely won me over. I felt bad for his past and his loss.

“Babe, I’ve been dreaming about tasting you again for fuckin’ two years, eight months, three weeks, and a day. I’m not waiting another minute. You have a problem with that?”

Kat was another great heroine. She had a tough personality. She made sure he knew he screwed up.

“You had your chance, asshole. And second ones don’t exist in my world.”

She really tried to stay away from Ream, but she also gave up when she knew she wouldn't win.

“Don’t you dare leave me this time, asshole.”

Nashoda has created an awesome world that I like to visit. (I'm scared to stay and get kidnapped or sold).

At the end of Torn from You I developed such a huge book hangover and I knew that until I read Overwhelmed by You, I wouldn't be happy.

Before I started it, I was mad at Ream for his behavior towards Kat from their prior interactions, but from the first chapter I knew this was going to be a dark awesome read too.

I couldn't wait to find out what was wrong with Kat. They were so many clues and I was happy to figured it out before hand. I still think Nashoda did an awesome job in taking you there.

Now, I can't wait for Beck.

“Second chances are for when you’re done with the first. I wasn’t done. I’ll never be done. I don’t need second chances, beautiful. Not with you. You’re my first chance. And fuck if I love my first chance.”

We first met Kat and Ream in Torn from You and I couldn’t wait to dive into their story. I just knew it was going to be a good one.

Kat and Ream have a past. They hooked up, but Ream made it painfully clear that nothing other than sex was going to transpire between them. He just doesn’t do relationships. Unfortunately, that didn’t stop Kat from falling for him. A huge fight results in Ream jetting off on tour with his band.

He shows up, back on the farm, two years later. Of course there’s still unfinished business between Kat and Ream. Under all the tension, there’s still strong feelings. They’ve both said horrible things to one another, but Ream is determined to make a future with her. To prove to her that he’s back for good. She’s the only one that’s ever made him want something more.

"You make everything ugly inside me beautiful, Kat.”

I really loved this book! I couldn’t help but to fall for Ream. Sure, I was pissed about the way he handled things originally, but he redeemed himself big time. This story was the perfect mix of angst, secrets, hot hookups and witty banter. I highly recommend this series!
