Beauty and the Billionaire: The Wedding
(Billionaire Boys Club #6.5) by Jessica Clare

Someone's out to ruin Gretchen's happy-ever-after on the eve before the big day. Can she trust Hunter, the man she's given her heart to? And can she rely on her sister Daphne (the least reliable person of all!) to help her salvage things? Or is this marriage going to go down in flames before Gretchen and Hunter ever get to the altar?

Includes a sneak peek of Dirty Money, first in Clare’s brand new Roughneck Billionaires series.

I had the best time reading this short novella!  Gretchen and Hunter's story begins in Beauty and the Billionaire and is a sort of Beauty and the Beast type story.

I just loved when Gretchen and Hunter would connected because there was only pure unadulterated love! Hunter is planning some big surprises for Gretchen, and she is...baking...and stressing. She's also eliciting the help of her bridesmaids to help her bake. She overhears a conversation which makes her spiral out of control, because she's already in freak out mode as it is and she can't handle much more.

All of the ladies circling around Gretchen in her time of need reminded me of my wedding day, and the mini freak out I had because it happens to everyone! It brought back all of the warm and fuzzy feelings I get whenever I attend a wedding, because despite all of the stress, there is always a couple that is about to spend the rest of their lives together, and that takes the cake! I just loved every minute of it, and could just picture the manor bursting with different color roses. This story was the perfect balance of love, laughs, stress, and gloom. Oh and did I say baking! Yes, BAKING!

Violet DeWitt has nothing to do with her father's last wishes. While he was alive he didn't care much about her, so she has no intentions of getting involved in whatever crazy hunt he has planned for her. Worse, she has no intention to contact the man that hurt her a decade ago.

Jonathan Lyons jumps at the chance to get back into Violet's life. It seems Dr Phineas DeWitt, his mentor and Violet's father is helping him from the grave. He must convince Violet to follow the trail her dad has left for both of them. Jonathan is expecting not only to find the prize but to convince Violet that he's the only man for her.

Romancing the Billionaire is a cute story. Violet and Jonathan made a good couple. I did feel that the miscommunication was over the top. Especially after ten years have passed and Jonathan never really kept tabs on her and suddenly, she is the most important thing for him. Overall the story was enjoyable and Jessica Clare is a solid author.
