Hunter Riley is engaged. The wedding date is almost here. In order to decompress from everything his fiancée sends him to a resort to relax and to reconnect with Devon.
Hunter has mixed feelings. He wants to go where he knows Devon is but he also knows he made a huge mistake four years ago and he doesn't know if Devon has forgiven him. Hunter can't seem to stay away and he goes to the Savor Wine bar where Devon works. When they see each other again, all those feelings are hard to keep hidden. The timing couldn't be more wrong or maybe this time they can get it right.
I'm surprised to see how easy is for Roni Loren to hook me into one of her stories. The novella was fast paced. The characters were likable and the emotion felt real. I was happy to see where the romance was going. Getting some of the college scenes incorporated made me understand how these two characters fell in love and had a second chance at their happiness.
"I'm telling you that I'm here if you want me- in whatever way that means. I won't turn my back on you again."
