For me SINNER’S REVENGE was one of those books that had me completely hooked once I started. I really enjoyed SINNER’S CREED (book #1) which left a gaping hole in my heart, so I was on the edge of excited and nervous to start REVENGE. 

Shady has dedicated the last eight years of his life to the Sinner’s Creed MC. After losing a brother, who was also Shady’s best friend, Shady will stop at nothing to Avenge his death. 

With the approval of the club, Shady takes time and meticulously plans the deaths of the men responsible. While on his personal mission, he stumbles upon hot-headed, temperamental, infuriating, Diem. The one woman who keeps Shady on his toes.

I’m such a sucker for an action packed motorcycle club story. I love the rashness, the action, the romance, and just the overall setting. Hot alpha men with a sweet side for the women they love calls for a great story! Kim Jones brought Shady and Diem’s story to life. Their struggles and their personalities clashed in the best of ways. 

Diem was so much fun to read. She was confident and alpha and had a mouth on her that could compete with the men. She definitely gave Shady a run for his money. 

“I’m waiting for him to give me a smirk, or for his concentration to break. But his fierce gaze never falters. It’s like he’s trying to tell me something with his eyes— something I don’t want to hear. He’s giving me a warning. He’s telling met hat this is who he is. That he’s a bad guy. That he’s no good for me, blah, blah, blah. 

So I match his glare with a  glare of my own. I’m giving him a warning. I’m telling him this is who I am. That bad guys don’t scare me. And that I don’t care if he’s no good for me, because the reality is, I’m really not that good for him either.”

I’m going to stop now because I don’t want to spoil ANYTHING. SINNER’S REVENGE had some scenes and situations that had my mouth falling open with shock. I’m generally a pretty good guesser when it comes to where stories are going, but this book had me stumped…and I loved every single moment of it. I hope Kim Jone’s never stops writing MC stories!

"You're late."

I don't know where to begin. I'm still shellshocked. This book was not what I was expecting.

Our anti-hero is part of an MC. Dirk is a Nomad and his job is to travel and clean up after the MC. He has been murdering people since he was a teenager.  He lives and breaths the Club. He loves the Club and his loyalty is never doubted. His grandfather treated him badly and he learned to defend himself early on. The first time he met Saylor, she was young, seventeen. He helped her when she was stranded with a flat tire. Over a few years, he kept bumping into her. He felt attracted to her in a way no other woman has done before.

"You are all I need."

Saylor Samson believes Dirk is her salvation. Every time she has needed help, he has been there to provide it. He is a quiet man whom she knows doesn't live a legal life, but in her eyes, he's nothing but perfect for her. Saylor places all her trust in him. She gives her heart. 

At some point, I thought she had no backbone and I was getting mad until I found out the truth.

I was not ready for the turn of events in this book. It broke my heart into a thousand pieces. Even writing this review makes me feel sad all over again. 

Kim Jones delivers a powerful story with engaging characters. I know I won't forget it.

Dirk is a nomad for the Sinner’s Creed MC. His job is to eliminate any threat or fix any problem that rises. He’s spent his whole life in the club and alone. When Dirk meets Saylor Samson he can’t forget her. He runs into her several times over 5 years and each time she has left a strong impact on him. 

When Dirk finally decides to take action and make Saylor his, he realizes that she’s more than anything that he expected and that she is running from something even he can’t take care of.

SINNER’S CREED was fantastic. I will admit that it took about half the book to fully get into it. The story is told from Dirk’s POV and his whole personality is very reserved and a man of few words, so the conversations between him and Saylor were usually one sided. But when he did speak each word he spoke was meaningful. 

I also want to say that even though I saw the whole “problem” coming, it didn’t lessen the effect it had on me. When I got to the big reveal I couldn’t put the book down. 

Kim Jones’ writing is so meaningful. Every line delivered something new to the story. The writing gave the character’s depth that is rare to find in books. I’m truly excited to see what Kim Jones has coming for us in SINNER’S REVENGE.

Kim Jones is a writer with big dreams. Inspired by her personal experience inside the MC life, she’s chosen to write biker romance stories that are authentic—expressing the true meaning of brotherhood and the lifestyle of motorcycle clubs.

In 2013, Kim began her self-publishing journey. Saving Dallas, her first MC series, is based on the life of an influential president who juggles the pressures of the Devil’s Renegades Motorcycle Club, and the search for true love.

Taking the club life and her career a step further, Berkley will be releasing Sinner’s Creed, her second MC series,  in March of 2016—an inside look into the life of a 1%er and his sacrifice for what he believes in.

Kim plans to continue to self-publish off her Saving Dallas series, and has signed a two book deal with Penguin-Random House for Sinner’s Creed. She resides in south Mississippi with her husband, Reggie, two dogs, a cat and a donkey.
