(Wind Dragons MC, #3.5)
by Chantal Fernando
From USA TODAY bestselling author Chantal Fernando comes a brand new Wind Dragons Motorcycle Club e-novella, full of sexy bad-boy bikers, strong heroines, and steamy romance!
Even by Wind Dragon Motorcycle Club standards, Irish was always a bit of a dark horse. Not one to confide his secrets, such as where he got that mysterious scar across his neck, he’s quick with his fists and even quicker to jump to the defense of his MC. But is he nimble enough to handle the woman he never saw coming? Or will she leave him with a matching scar across his heart?
Featuring scorching hot chemistry and plenty of sass, Dirty Ride is sure to rev your engine and get you immediately hooked!
I always know I am in for a treat when I read about the Wind Dragons, and this novella lived up to that standard! There were some things that I disliked about this novella, but I really enjoyed it as a whole.
One of my main problems with this book was the pacing of the romance. I understand that because this was a novella, the romance was going to feel a little rushed. I went into the novella knowing that, but it was still a little hard for me to get over. It made it hard for me to really believe the romantic development. It was just so sudden! I think I would have enjoyed the romance more if the couple in this novella met and interacted in a previous book, and this novella was them finally becoming romantically involved.
That being said, I think Chantal did a great job at creating chemistry between the two characters. Irish and Valentina had off the charts chemistry that made me want to fan myself off!
The plot of this novella was a little cliche, but it still kept me on my toes! The novella was action packed, and that aspect alone kept me glued to the pages.
Irish was as dream worthy as I expected. His "alpha maleness" was a little overwhelming and ridiculous at times, but I enjoy a good alpha male from time to time so it didn't bug me too much. Valentina was great too. I thought her spunk and attitude added some great humor to the novella.
Overall, I enjoyed this novella, even though were some things I disliked. I think this is a great edition to the Wind Dragons series!

Chantal Fernando MC's world is one of my favorites.
This time, the story centers between "Irish" and Valentina.
Ardan "Irish" is part of the Wind Dragons MC. He has never fallen for a woman until he meets Valentina. He loves the club and he will do anything to protect it but Valentina brings in him feelings he can't ignore.
Valentina is escaping her abusing ex. She is not sure if it is smart to fall for a biker who screams danger but for some reason she also feels safe with him. She is in search of new beginnings, a new job and even though she wasn't looking for love, Ardan is making it easy to believe in happiness.
I know the novella was too short but I still enjoyed every second of it. The insta-love type of relationship in a novella is hard to avoid however, I found out in this instance, it didn't bother me at all.
Valentina was a good addition to the women of the MC and I hope to see more of her in books to come.
