Priceless by Sarah J. Pepper

I really liked the storyline of this book, and I especially loved the male main character in this book. The only issue I really had with this story was that it felt like insta-love. I know it sometimes hard to avoid that with short stories, but this had too strong of an insta-love vibe. However, I still really liked the story.

4 / 5 Fangs

Sarah J. Pepper specializes in dark, paranormal romance - think "happy ever after" but with a twisted, dark chocolate center. Real-life romance isn't only filled with hugs, kisses, bunnies, and rainbows. True-love can be more thoroughly described in times of darkness and tribulation. It's in those harsh moments where you see what a person is truly capable of - both the good and bad. Sometimes prince-charming isn't always on time, and the glass slipper is a little snug. However, it doesn't mean Charming is not Mr. Right, and who says every shoe is the perfect fit? Get a glimpse inside her head at www.sarahjpepper.com

Dance with Me by Tish Thawer

I thought the plot was very interesting, and that Tish did a great job putting a unique spin on this fairytale. I didn't really get into the story until the end, now I want to see more of the characters and their world!

Well by Amy Daws

I loved the message of loving yourself and girl power in this book. I thought that was so refreshing! However, I didn't really like the main character until she showed her girl power. I also didn't really love the story until she stood up for herself in the end. I thought the plot was a little slow, and the characters made it hard for me to connect to the story.

Casting Crowns and Other Curious Things
by Elizabeth Montgomery

This was an action packed and exciting retelling of Alice in Wonderland. I am actually not a huge fan of that fairytale, but this short story made me enjoy it. I would have loved to see this in a full length book.

4 / 5 Fangs

Author Elizabeth Montgomery was born in Williamsburg, Virginia and raised a hop, skip, and a jump away in Yorktown, Virginia. Paranormal inspiration was easily obtained during her childhood in these colorful towns. This helped to spur her love of Paranormal romance stories, but she also enjoys reading YA and NA.
She is currently raising four children and a husband while elbow-deep in the depths of the writing cave. You can often find her searching on Google for an appropriate, or sometimes inappropriate, photo to insert in any random conversation. If not on Google, or Facebook chat, she can be found drinking coffee (like any normal writer), eating Gummy Bears, baking fanciful cakes, reading (of course), or writing (duh).“I always wondered what authors meant when they said that their characters tell them what to write – I get it now!

Jaclyn and the Beanstalk by M. Clarke

M. Clarke really impressed me with this short story.  I really loved all of the characters, and the plot was so addictive. I never wanted this story to end. M.Clarke, I hope you write more of this story, because I need that in my life.

International Bestselling, award winning, Author Mary Ting/M. Clarke resides in Southern California with her husband and two children. She enjoys oil painting and making jewelry. Writing her first novel, Crossroads Saga, happened by chance. It was a way to grieve the death of her beloved grandmother, and inspired by a dream she once had as a young girl. When she started reading new adult novels, she fell in love with the genre. It was the reason she had to write one-Something Great. Why the pen name, M Clarke? She tours with Magic Johnson Foundation to promote literacy and her children's chapter book-No Bullies Allowed.

The Snow Queen by Shannon Morton

I really enjoyed how strong and fierce the main character was, but I didn't really like her besides that. I admired her, but I didn't like her. However, I thought the plot was interesting and that was what kept me reading this story

3.5 / 5 Fangs

When I'm not writing, I can be found teaching Pilates, being mommy to two fabulous kiddos, and just generally being a crazy sarcastic insomniac mess!!

The Little Mermaid by K.R. Wilbur

This story was awesome! The romance developed really well, and I loved it. The plot was extremely interesting, and it kept me hooked the entire time. I would love to read more about these characters, but I loved what I got in the short story.

Blayze & Ash by Jessica Sorensen

This was one of my favorite stories in the book. I loved the plot, the characters, and the romance. Jessica did an amazing job at creating a believable romance that never felt like insta-love. I would definitely read more stories about this couple if I could.

Real Boy by Kellie Sheridan

This honestly was the creepiest story for me to read. I felt uncomfortable the entire time! I kind of predicted what was going to happen with the "pinocchio" character, but it was still extremely unsettling to read. I thought the author did a nice job of creating a unique spin on this classic tale.

3.5 - 4 / 5 Fangs

Kellie has been in love with stories in all of their forms for as long as she can remember. Admittedly, sometimes that means falling into places like Stars Hollow and Sunnydale, but books have always been her true love.
Kellie spent part of her twenties living in Galway, Ireland and swooning after various lilting accents but is now back home in Ontario, Canada. Her family includes two Glen of Imaal Terriers and an Australian Labradoodle.

Awakened by Kristen Strassel

I thought Kristen's spin on Sleeping Beauty was really unique and entertaining. I enjoyed the romance in this book between the main character and the main male character. However, I couldn't really connect with the main character.

Hansel & Gretel by Cameo Renae
