Return to Me (Covington Cove #1)
by Kelly Moran

Return to Me

Cole Covington has lost so much. He lost Mia ten years ago. During that decade, he enlisted in the military and recently he was severely wounded. He won't allow anyone close to help him, except for his house keeper. He is depressed, in need of physical therapy and he's dealing with PTSD too.

Mia Galdon has lost her job. She is a nurse and she is the sole provider for her sister with Down Syndrome. When Cole's sister offers her a job taking care of him, she really can't say no. Mia loved Cole from a very young age. Seeing Cole after so many years brings all those feelings back. She promises herself to help him heal and when he's healed she'll walk away.

I love second chance love stories. I felt so bad for what Cole had to endure after getting hurt. I wanted him to get well. He made mistakes with Mia but he's desperate to atone for them.
Mia was sweet. She was full of love for her sibling and for Cole. I love the tough love she used on him at the beginning.  She was there every step of the way to help him heal physically and emotionally.
I liked Cole's sister too. With Cole's help she blossomed as well.

"I will wait forever for you if I have to, Mia."
