This story is a serial. (I read book 1-6).
It's fast paced and easy read.

The book begins with Laurie trying to break up with her current boyfriend who has become abusive towards her. It's their six month anniversary and she knows he's not what she wants in her life.
When she tries to break up with him, things go south. Luckily, a biker friend of her brother is watching and saves her. In order to keep her safe he made the decision to kidnap her and take her where her nomad bikers are staying.

Steele is the leader of the club. On his birthday, when he gets to his room he believes Laurie is his birthday present. Soon he learns his mistake and the reason why she is there. His protective instinct arises but convincing her to stay is the problem.

I enjoyed the story. The flow its smooth and the characters are all likable. Steele is a good guy from the beginning and so is Wild Card.  Some of the erotic scenes took me by surprise but they worked.

Cliffhanger: yes, it's a serial but I read all 6 parts in one day.

Laurie is in a bad relationship.  Her brother knows about her boyfriends past, and asks some biker friends to kidnap her to keep her safe.  They do not agree, but one of the bikers sees her being harassed by her boyfriend and steps in.  The only option he has left is to take her to the cabin they are staying out, so she will be safe from her boyfriend.

She is terrified of these bikers and tries to escape several times.  Then slowly, Steele, the leader, shows her just how trustworthy he is.

This series was HOT!!!! Each book left you wanting more and on the edge of your seat.  It was a fast, entertaining read.  I loved the flow of the story and the writing was very effortless to read.

Usually when I read short serials, the character development isn’t that great, but this story….. I felt like I’ve known these bikers for a LONG time.  The characters are extremely developed and I felt they all had their own personality.  I highly recommend this series.  You will not be disappointed.
