Devil's Game (Reapers MC #3) by Joanna Wylde

Emmy Lou Hayes was brought up in the MC world. She is one of the two daughters of Picnic, the president of the Reaper's MC. Usually, she is the daughter who doesn't cause trouble. Growing up she always followed her father's orders.
She had a crush on "Painter" but he never fought for her.

“You deserve a man who’ll fight for you, baby girl. You remember that, all right?” 

When she meets Liam, she thinks he's the One.

Liam "Hunter" Blake is in a rival MC. He hates the Reapers and he plans on using Em for the Club's purposes. This plan backfires big time. The more he gets to know Em, the more he likes her.  When Em discovers his true identity she is furious.

Hunter wants to fight for the girl but his club is in the way. Keeping the peace is important and necessary.
In the end will Hunter need to decide between his club or the girl?

My thoughts:

I loved it. Joanna's MC are one of my top favorite MC worlds. Hunter was everything I wanted in an MC guy. He is like Jax in Season 1.  He joins the MC after having a troubled childhood. He is loyal to his club but he's loyal to his girl too. He had a great personality and he is a fighter. (Eat that Painter!!). He deserves to get the girl.

‘Love’ is a word that doesn’t mean a damned thing to me. ‘Em,’ though? That’s a word that means everything. I’d die for you, babe. Kill for you, too. I stood up to my club for you and I don’t regret any of it, not for a minute. So, you wanted to know how I feel? I don’t even have a word for what I feel, sweetheart. I just know it’s really fuckin’ good.”

Em was sweet and smart. She knows the MC life and she is well adjusted unless she has to fight for her man. Then we see a new Em. An Em who will do whatever is necessary to keep Hunter in her life.

“They’re your family, and now they’re my family, too. I’m not a civilian and I didn’t fall in love with a stockbroker. I fell in love with a Devil’s Jack. I know what it means to wear a cut.” 

I'll never get tired of these characters. I think this is my favorite in the series.
I believe Picnic is next and I hope things aren't easy for him.  London make him work for it.
Painter will need to redeem himself. He was a disappointment.
I want to see Hunter and Em's sisters get an HEA too (no pressure Joanna).
