Contractually Yours by Connie Cox

Contractually Yours

Caroline Duplessis is a wedding planner. She thought she was handling the most important wedding in New Orleans but when the groom cancels the wedding at the altar and the bride's check bounces, her company Weddings Divine is in jeopardy. On top of that, she has used her parent's house's second mortgage as collateral.
Caroline decides to approach the groom when her bills pilled up.

Brandon Andrew D'Estrahan is a groom in need of a wife, urgently. He is a savvy businessman owner of Phoenix Rising but also one of the most desired bachelors. Paparazzi are always following him and he is losing deals because of how the tabloids are portraying him.

Brandon's gut tells him that Caroline is the woman he needs. He just needs to convince her to sign the prenup. When Caroline makes it clear her body is not part of the deal, she creates a challenge Brandon can't resist.

I love this book! It was so sweet. It is fast-paced, entertaining, no cliffhanger and there is no cheating!

I'm a sucker for stories were the marriage is of convenience but later on, they fall madly in love.

Caroline was smart, funny and spoke her mind.  She was a great listener and she cared for Brandon.
Brandon was not the usual business mogul. Yes, he can be domineering, arrogant but he knew he had a good thing in his hands and didn't want to lose it.  He never even looked at another woman.

If I could mention that I was a little disappointed when there was no epilogue. The ending just felt too abrupt for me.

I do wonder if the other couple mentioned in Contractually Yours will get their own book or Alex, the lawyer.
