Our little itchy witch is getting in trouble again.
Rachel has realized that she cares for Trent and becoming part of his security team has not made it easy on her. She knows he has to travel a different path and marry the horrible Ellasbeth.
It is very hard for Rachel to dissociate her feelings. Every time, she goes out with him and he is relaxed around her she has to talked herself out of making a move on him.
Rachel's life is never dull. She has noticed something is wrong with her Ley Line and weird things are happening in Cincinnati. One of them, is that the master vampires can seem to wake up. Someone is trying to destroy them and she will make it her mission to stop them.
To make matters worse, it seems like the elf goddess may be real after all and she may be a little nuts. Maybe even worse than Newt.
In a difference from prior installments, it seems like Rachel is not into this alone. Her friends are helping her every step of the way. Yes, bad things follow Rachel but she is always helping the people she cares for to begin with.
The best part of the book was how much of Trent we see but I can assure you, it was still not enough for myself. Yes, I'm greedy. I want more Trent.
I'm disappointed of how little of AL we see and one scene BROKE MY HEART. Please Kim, fix it.
Do we have to wait a year for the last book? I sure hope not but what will I do after these great characters are gone? I just don't know.
By the way Kisten- I still miss you. You were incredible.
