The Siren (The Original Sinners, #1) by Tiffany Reisz

The Siren

Nora Sutherlin is a writer of erotica. She is quite famous, but she wants to be even better. To do this she has to convince Zachary Easton to become her editor.

Zach doesn't want anything to do with Nora. He thinks her work is trash. This doesn't last long because she intrigues him. He learns she lives with Wesley, a young college kid. The more he is in contact with Nora, the more he learns about Nora's past. The past includes her ex lover Soren. Not to give the plot away, but Soren is the key to Nora's earlier life.

I have mixed feelings about this book. I couldn't connect with Nora. Her world is so not my type. I like Wesley and I felt bad for him. Zach disappointed me and Soren is to dark for my liking. I know people love this series, I'm just not one of them. However, the writer makes the reader feel tons of emotions. It may take a while for me to come back to this series. I just wanted to grab a happy book next.
